If you enjoy having a a cocktail from time to time, keep your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your wallet, and keep all money, credit cards and cheques back at the hotel. Take whatever cash you intend to use on beverages, tips and few dollars you expect to lose and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might have a success after a drunken night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hit a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and wager. The two just don’t mix.

Leaving your moola back at the hotel is a tiny bit drastic, but defensive measures for drastic behavior is a requirement. If you gamble to profit, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to burn your cash nary a concern, then drink all the free beer your stomach can handle, but don’t pack charge cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your drunk as a skunk head throws away all the cash!

Allow me to carry this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then hop on the web to play in your favorite internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, but because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and bet.

How come? Despite the fact that I do not drink to excess, once I drink, it is clearly adequate to befuddle my judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. The two mix up for a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
