If you like to have a beer from time to time, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your purse, your billfold, and keep all cash, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Pack only the cash you intend to use on alcohol, tips and only the pocket change you intend to squander and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You might have a success after a drunken night out with your comrades and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long roll at a on fire craps table. Don’t forget that story considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and gamble. The two simply don’t mix.
Keeping your moola back at the hotel is a little excessive, but defensive measures for drastic behavior is required. If you gamble to profit, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your money nary a worry, then drink all the free beer you can handle, but don’t take charge cards and cheques to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your inebriated self throws away everything!
Allow me to take this one step further. Don’t drink and then jump on to the internet to wager in your preferred casino either. I love to beer from the comfort of my condominium, however due to the fact that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit near by, I can not drink and gamble.
How come? Although I do not consume alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is clearly adequate to cloud my common sense. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. Both make for an awful, and expensive, drink.
